A very nice souvenir spoon commemorating the St Louis World’s Fair of 1904. The bowl features a very detailed view of the Cascade Gardens. The handle front features Thomas Jefferson, the Court House and a bridge. The back of the handle is decorated with The Mound City Seal Adopted 1828, Union Station and 2 people in a canoe. It also bears the Manchester maker’s mark along with STERLING. The spoon measures about 4" in length. It is not gilt - any colored tones are reflections. This is a shiny spoon although it may appear dull in the photos.
Condition: Very good condition with only very minor light surface wear
