This pretty item for your curio cabinet is made of pale transparent green glass with a scalloped upper rim and three scrolled feet. Three gold vertical bars separate panels decorated with raised gold scrolling vines and leaves. Each bar is further decorated with raised six-pointed stars bordered by beads. The upper rim and feet are gilt. I do not see a maker’s mark but the beautiful gold work and green color (with yellow / olive tones) are indicative of antique Bohemian glass, possibly Moser. Although it appears to be a toothpick holder, it seems slightly too big (measures about 2.75" in height with an upper diameter of 2.5". Most of the glass reference books call this in-between size a novelty vase. Very pretty!
Condition: There is some loss to the gilding on the upper rim and feet and minor wear to the all-over gilt pattern (when studied under magnification). There are a few inclusions / bubbles within the glass (as it was made) and a couple of VERY TINY flea-bite nicks to the rim (one has gilt over it so occurred during the manufacturing process). Overall, very good condition.
