This book was issued in 1938, the year before the exposition opened. It describes the upcoming attractions of the fair with artist renderings of the buildings and exhibits. Also includes contemporary black/white photographs of the San Francisco Bay Area as well as a listing of the officers and departments of the board of managers and a description of the funding sources for the fair. This particular copy was signed by Evelyn Hurst, secretary to the President of the Exposition, Mr Leland Cutler. It also bears the red ink stamp of the Captain Robert Dollar World Trade Library with the accession date of Jan 16, 1961. This promotional volume is scarce compared to the other publications released about the world fair.
