A set of three sterling silver master salt spoons bearing the mark of London silversmiths Thomas Wallis & Jonathan Hayne along with the year mark for 1810. The spoons measure about 4" in length with fairly deep oval bowls that are lightly gilt. The handles are engraved with a heraldic device (my best guess - a seated stag under a banner with a Latin motto). Together the spoons weigh about 1.25 troy oz.
Condition: There is normal tarnish and surface wear consistent with age along with a dent to the back of the bowl of one spoon (see close-up photo). The handle engravings are also worn consistent with normal use. Please examine photos closely for condition issues.
